Phillip M. Locey is the author of stories set in the mythical World of Elisahd. From the time his parents read him “The Hobbit” and “The Chronicles of Narnia” as a child, Phillip knew he wanted to be a fantasy writer. Though he wrote stories throughout his middle-school and high-school years, they were always intuitively structured. It wasn’t until college that he started to seriously learn or study anything about story craft.
Phillip pursued a degree in English Literature at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. While attaining a minor in Creative Writing as well, he immersed himself in the study of mythology, philosophy, and world religions. These disciplines all helped in the creation of his own fantasy world, which he wanted to make as rich and complete as possible.
Shortly after finishing his B.A., the roots of Elisahd were laid down. Over the last twenty years, he’s continued to enrich the setting, characters, and stories of the world, and is enthusiastically ready to share those stories with a greater audience.
